ASL Emergency Alert System
ASL Emergency Alert System
The patent pending ASL Emergency Alert System was created following the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and the needless violence at numerous schools across our county. The devastation in Louisiana was another reminder to our country that we need to update our Emergency Warning and Notification Systems for all Americans. People who are deaf need an Emergency Alert System (EAS) in American Sign Language (ASL). ASL is not text but rather a visual language full of expression, with a different syntax than English. ASL is the first language of the Deaf. Imagine during an emergency, a warning was given to the public in a language you do not understand. This is the current situation for people who are deaf. The new ASL Emergency Alert Notification System can deliver a video warning message in ASL within seconds, to multiple display units such as cell phones or mobile PDA devices. License Information
